I was interviewed for PASSION OF THE CHRIST dvd
I was walking down hollywood and highland (where the oscars are) last night. Right in the very front of the blockade, a few steps down from a sad clown, there was a tall chinese man holding a large microphone. he was there with a camerman. he said "excuse me sir, but have you see THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST?" i said yes. Then he asked if i thought it should be nominated for best picture. Strange question, considering its on febuary.
Still, i thought it was one of the best movies i've seen this year, so what the hell, i said yes. They started filming and the guy asked my name. I gave it to him and he asked again if i thought it should be nominated for best picture. I said yes. Then he asked why. I was a bit nervous and didn't speak that great but I BS some stuff. I think i said "well the acting direction and special BURB effects were all amazing" yes, my ice coffee came back up in the form of a little belch. hope they edit that shit!
Then the guy said I was a wonderful person and god bless and then asked for my permission to use this on the dvd. i said yes.
Gotta love hollywood
speaking of good extras for THE PASSION, i was channel surfing and came across this amazing documentary on the making of the movie on the trinity broadcasting network. It was an hour long and i hope it will mkae the dvd. It was fantastic. Mix of great interviews and behind the scenes footage. It was probably as good as the LOTR documentaries. Very informative and highly entertaining. Only thing that was odd was every 20 minutes or so, the two "hosts" of the show would come on and talk about the movie. They were deeply religious and one dude even claimed any person with cancer who sees this movie would come out healed. That was....interesting.
do look out for that documentary though

Maybe we'll get a Gibson commentary too providing it's better than the awful one he did for Braveheart or else just stick to interviews/making of featurettes

its Febuary and hes asking "do you think passion of the christ should be nominated for best picture?"
I didn't even think twice about it. he looked like a well kempt guy, very friendly...strange.

You're gonna be on television!
And your son Harry will be there with his fiancée Marion, and they're going to be having a baby!
You are your own juice, man.

It might be time to lay off the Fellini films . . .
