Is Hanging By a Moment a Love song??

I'm looking for some help on this one. I tend to get long-winded so I'll try and keep it as short as possible.

I am getting married in '05 and we would like to use "Hanging by a Moment" by Lifehouse for our first dance together. (we have an acoustic version)

I can easily see how it is a love song, but I still wonder if the actual phrase "hanging by a moment" is really fitting. Does that imply that they are one step away from leaving, or am I reading too much into it because I am so afraid of picking the wrong kind of song for the wedding. (have a feeling that's what I'm doing so I'm enlisting your help so I know for sure)

If anybody has any ideas about this - I'd really appreciate it! THANKS!

Personally, I don't think it's fitting for a wedding.

It seems to me to be about a man chasing after a girl that hasn't "given in."

"I'm closer to where i started
Chasing after you"

-When you start chasing someone, you aren't really that close to having them and marrying them, and this seems to indicate that he is almost running in circles.

"i don't know what i'm diving into"

-Seems almost insulting when directed toward someone you are marrying!

That's just my impression, though. It's YOUR wedding, and in the end you should play what you want!

Congratulations, by the way.

our wedding song was "at last"

when we walked back down the aisle after saying "i do" and kissed, the string quartet broke into "all you need is love" by the beatles.
