question about the real world
Hello, I have a bet with my friend. I bet him that the cast on the real world gets paid at the end of the show.. he said they don't, if they do get paid.. a dvd is at stake thanks

Shouldn't they get at the very least some kind of stipend. I know its been mentioned that the Big Brother/Survivor contestant get a stipend for every week they are on the show, I don't know if its a "reward" or some kind of SAG mandated payment (though I don't think being on a 'reality show' would fall under SAG guidelines.)

Why do you think they all show up for the real world/road rules chalenges? They don't cast business savy people, and even if they did, most real worlders are there expecting it to be their break-in in the business....

I'm not sure if they get paid extra when they are given jobs to do (like in Vegas). So they get a stipend, but not any "reward" for being on the show. So I'm not sure if you win the bet or not...
