The only way to make this even better is to fully enclose the cockpit and include a monitor inside, surround speakers etc. An old Afterburner cockpit or something that size would really be ideal.

There's space on the cockpit to put one of those 17" Sony Widescreen monitors. Not sure about the surround sound speakers though. ;p

What if they just gave you an actual giant mech robot? Wouldn't that make it better?

The 2 cockpits are okay, actually, I think they aren't anything special, but I do like the helmet, that is pretty cool.

The helmet doesn't look like it would be too hard to make yourself. Just get a skateboard helmet. Slap on some stickers and figure out a way to attach the mic and headphoes.

What do you do with that once you beat the game? Use it as a snow racer?

Or you could just put on a shiny helmet while wearing your XBox communicator... and a big wheels could easily replace the cockpit setup they got there.

What an interesting "cockpit." Another term that comes to mind is "chair."

I guess I should just retreat back to my glass house, though, since I own a rather expensive DDR metal pad.
