24 "Day 3: 2:00 AM-3:00 AM" -- 02.17.2004

Has anyone seen the previews for this? It looks like
Spoiler:
Nina escapes captivity, and ends up in a showdown with Kim, each with guns pointed at the other's head.

At least that's what I got from the preview I saw during American Idol.

DO NOT SWIPE UNTIL AFTER THE EPISODE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!
Spoiler:
Nina will be shot and killed by Jack

Well, it would follow logic that
Spoiler:
One of them dies in the face-off, but to get people off guard, it could not be Kim, as people seem to expect that to occur. Nina would be an easier person to kill. However, the real clincher would be both of them dying.

I did not read the swipe, BTW.

Also, why does CTU keep bringing back Nina? Past occurances make it pretty obvious she isn't on their side I would think! Why keep giving her the opportunity to cause more problems? Jack should just have her head and be done with it!

Wow. Didn't expect that ending to be so revenge-filled.

(*&^%(*_ , Kim could have gone a long way toward rehabilitation with this viewer if she'd have just shot Nina herself.

Stupid wimp.

I could have at least given her a bear trap and falling in love with a kidnapper one time back from my level of disgust.

Great ending. On the level of Jack unloading his clip into Drazen at the end of season 1.

Other then that a pretty uneventful episode.

Chloe's line to Chase:

"You don't know what I've been through in the past few hours"

(good episode!)

I fear today's episode ending will upset the "KIM MUST DIE!" angry mob of 24.

Damn it! Now we'll never learn what Jack whispered in Nina's ear last season!

And one other thing. Is that whole subplot with Palmer's now ex-girlfriend and her psycho ex-husband finished? Why devote all those episodes to this storyline if there's no payoff?

I'm pretty sure he said. "One way or another, I'm going to get you."

Why is that? She did, after all, murder his wife...

I'm surprised they didn't run with the Nina/HIV thing more. Then again, Tony did have an open wound on his neck when he got Nina's blood splattered on him.

When Tony ran down all the evil stuff Nina did, and she then proceeded to escape(almost) while killing a few guards, I realized that Nina is the greatest TV villian of all time. She wil be missed.

When Tony did the run down, I actually hoped he would ask: " Why in the hell do we keep using you? You obviously hate our guts!"

I got the impression that was just a fake-out, meant to elicit a reaction so they could tell if Nina and whatshisname had a relationship.
