DS9 coming to Spike tv in April

http://www.trektoday.com/news/170204_02.shtml

For those of you who don't have the dvd's this is you chance to see one of the finest tv shows ever. I know that it is hard to find in syndication so this should be welcome news to a lot of people.

^One would think so. At least the nightly 7:00 episodes should be in order. They will probably have marathons from time to time showing themed episodes like they did with TNG.

Are they still broadcasting their hour-long shows with that annoying banner on the bottom, like they did as TNN?

I recently watched Striperella on there and The SI Swimsuit special and they didn't have the black bar on the bottom.

Great news, I've been wanting to see these again but the price of the dvd's is to much for me right now. Oh and calhoun07 is correct no more black bar on the bottom of the screen just a transparent spike logo.

No, but they do have animated crap across the bottom. Watching one episode of TNG, it came up at least 4-5 times and blocked about 1/4 of the screen from the bottom.

I'll stick to renting the series from Netflix. Can't afford to buy it.

Unfortunately, that’s becoming the norm. Fx is another prime offender.

DS9 got a poor showing in syndication. In spite of the irritating banners and the jerkoff spray painting the logo, I can’t recommend this enough.

About the only thing that could spoil it would be them showing out of order.

“Theme” marathons would probably suk, too. Fortunately, there are enough standalone episodes to make it work. Unfortunately, there are enough standalone episodes for them to try it.

Yes!!!!!!!!! The best Trek ever is back. I am getting bored with them running TNG all the time. Give it a few years break and I might watch them again.

Great news! I haven't seen DS9 since they ended it! The station it was on here in town put it at 3 AM on sunday nights, so i missed alot even during its first airings.

Thank you Spike! You suck slightly less now.

I hope B&B don't watch, because then they'll see*:
Spoiler:
Section 31 should be operating during Enterprise's time.

*I was going to say "remember", but we all know that wouldn't be the case.

This show has been an incredible surprise for me. I was very 'eh' on it during the intial run, but I only caught occasional episodes here and there.

I've been watching it in order on DVD and I've really grown to love it. Glad to see that it is getting back out there where others may discover it.

I was going to lay down some major dough to pick up the series, but this is awesome news. The latter seasons of DS9 were truly spectacular TV.

Saturday evening syndicated TV was damn good just a few years ago....now its nearly gone. Oh well.

Spike TV has never shown TNG in any sort of order (From what I can tell) so I'm sure this will be a disaster.

Yep. They’re in order, if you ignore the 2 extra Friday episodes.

No kidding? I suppose I just get unlucky when I tune in. It's always the Spock one or something from the first season.

I can’t count the number of times I’ll catch an episode or two of a new show and decide it’s not for me. Come rerun season I’ll get bored and revisit the show just for Ss and Gs. And it’s the SAME FRIKKIN EPISODE!!
