The O.C. --> Feb. 16, 2004

Ewwwwwww!!!
Spoiler:
Marissa's mom & Luke
Well, if it was the producer's intention to make me wanna barf, they've succeeded.
Spoiler:
Poor Summer & Seth - they finally get together, and he sucks Fish sex
Not to mention
Spoiler:
Sandy talking to Seth about sex. Seth's facial expressions were the best
Much improved with the loss of Oliver, thats for sure. Marissa looks about 12 with the new haircut. What the hell is with everyone on TV having bangs all of a sudden this season?

The OC 02/18/04

Before anyone asks, it airs on Mondays in Canada.

Don't want to give anything away, but I thought that the show really got back on track after the Oliver debacle.

A couple of random thoughts about the episode:

Spoiler:
A couple of great lines: "fish sex" and "forewhatnow?". Of course, both came from Seth. A bug thumbs up to Seth for nailing Summer - twice!

Spoiler:
Marissa seems to be much more unbalanced towards Ryan than he was to her. Seems like every scene she was begging him to take her back. Give it up!

Spoiler:
Way to go Luke you stud! Ditto for Jimmy

For those of you who watched it already, who did the version of Wonderwall at the end?

That's Ryan Adams' from his "Love is Hell Pt. 1" EP. Liam Gallagher(or which ever brother wrote the song) actually said Adams' version is much better than the original Oasis did.

Wow.... I really don't like the bangs either.

This show needed more Anna (well, any Anna).
Though the profile shots on the beach scene made me appreciate Summer and Marissa more.

Sandy continues to have great timing. I'm never sure how much is the writing, or that he's just that damn_good.

Line of the show: "I beat Kirsten?"

Could someone explain to me who the girl on the boat was? And the girl that was with Ryan, was she around a bunch before? That scene from the "previously on" bit where she says "she's an old friend" when being introduced, was that from Thanksgiving, like they were talking about? I've only been watching since Christmukkah.

Very good episode. I am so glad Olive is gone at least for a while.

I haven't seen the episode, but is this the same cover of Wonderwall that last week's Smallville used at the end?

Spoiler:
She wasn't around a bunch, but when Ryan went back to Chino, she was the girl next door who he used to date. She seems to be a threat to Marissa, the new resident psycho

if it's the same version of wonderwall, it's Ryan Adams cover from Love is Hell part 1

I think it's great that they keep playing the same song every time Summer takes her top off in front of Seth.

I'd like to give a big imaginary high-five to Luke. He deserves it, as does Seth, Sandy and Ryan (for standing up to dumb-girl).

I hope the return of Hayley is not so short-lived.

By the way, what was the "sunshine" song that they kept playing during Summer and Seth's "special" moments?

Marissa is stupid, and it looks like she gets it from her father - I can't believe he said "no" to going further w/ Hayley. Why in the hell did he track her down then?

Again, big high-five for Luke for hooking up w/ the winner of Ultimatum.

I thought that was hilarious.

I agree about it being back on track now that Oliver is gone.

Sandy was hilarious when he asked if it was w/ Summer and Seth made that look. Then Sandy kept pushing the issue. He's too much sometimes.

Seth and Summer just need to get some instructional videos, and copy what they see on screen, on screen.

And The O.C. is back to its original glory! The show was much improved sans-Oliver. Summer looked amazing in that dress. Seth and Sandy were hilarious. I'm actually glad that Ryan and Marissa didn't get back together at the end of the episode, that would have been just too convenient.

Now this is the O.C. I remember. A really funny episode with some dramatic elements thrown in, but not overplayed. I am so happy to see Oliver gone, and I hope they never bring up his name again.

"And the Sun Rises Again!"

Fantastic episode tonight. Seth and Sandy were hilarious, especially the sex talk. "You dog you". I have to say that the best part was when Ryan dumped Marissa. I was actually standing and clapping. "Fore what now".

Thoughts from an 18 year old male watching THE OC for the first time...

1. Cheesy intro. Good song for the credits and show, but ehh. Orange county aint that nice, trust me.

2. This summer chick is easy

3. I wonder where my damn clicker is

4. Wait, Mrs. cooper is the girls mom!? she could pass for 23! thats some great casting. THe blonde dude is so gonna get her.

5. mmmmmm give me 5 minutes alone with summer and mrs cooper...

6. why is this chick with the bangs being such a bitch?

7. the guy in the white undershirt is whipped, but at least hes not an a hole.

8. dammit! 30 more minutes till chappelle show!

8. who sings this cover of wonderwall?! its great!

9. Leaving lit candles in the bed room is not safe.

10. holy crap fox primetime is getting really sexual!

11. this show is nothing i would watch on a regular basis, but is far less annoying than the tv ads make it out to be.

12. i hvaen't seen one fat or ugly character yet. where are they hiding? Must have been fat and ugly day at disneyland.

13. summer is hot.

14. next weeks episode seems boring. no sex episode = no watch

15. holy crap that was ryan adam's version of wonderwall?! wow nice job.

16. mmmmmmm mrs cooper....
