Most contrversial cd's are?

In your opinion what cd's do you think are controversial and why?

2 Live Crew - "As Nasty As They Wanna Be"

Any record that'll get ya arrested is controversial in my book.

Also, Judas Priest's "Stained Class" was (rather lamely) accused of inciting a double suicide. Luckily, Priest were able to beat that rap.

Eminem's always been stirring up a storm with all of his cd's. Marshall Mather's LP stands out IMO.

Funny, I was going to post this myself. It's one of the few that's controversial for reasons beyond its lyrical content.

One of the albums in the first round-up of the PMRC that led to the break up of the band:

Vanilla Ice - for the song Ice Ice Baby.

I still can see his smug voice trying to tell Chris Nolan on MTV that the music was different from Queens Under Pressure.

Vanilla: Yea, seeyou here at the end there's that extra ding ding.
Chris Nolan: OK.

Really though you could just see him want to rip into this guy. What a joke.

They would be controversial, if anyone but me bought them ; )

Any album by GWAR.
We Kill Everything has a couple disgusting songs on it, and I believe 'This Toilet Earth' was reissued without the track 'BDF' [although it still has 'Slap U Around', which is also bad, in a different way.]

Same with Christian Death's 'Pornographic Messiah'. You can keep your Marilyn Manson and those other wannabe 'anti-religious' people, you haven't heard anti-religion/anti-church till you've heard this album.

Anything by G.G. Allin, the Dwarves and Mayhem takes the cake.

Mayhem is my personal favorite for most insane band of all time:

1. Lead singer commits suicide, band put picture of his blown-apart head on the cover of their next album.
2. Guitarist makes necklace from lead singer's shattered skull fragments, drummer cooks and eats his brain.
3. Bassist kills guitarist by stabbing him 35 times because he was jealous of his more evil reputation.
4. Sheep head flies off of stage and fractures the skull of concertgoer last year after the (new) singer beheaded it with an axe.

etc, etc.

Those Norwegian black metalers, they know how to live the rock-n-roll lifestyle

spin ran a poll a few years back, and the dwarves gathered like 67% of the vote, even though they were the most obscure band and album listed ( they beat out 2 live crew almost 2-1)

I'd put a picture of album cover-- but's it's 2 chicks totally nudeand a midget humping a dead rabbit , drenched in blood,

song titles

1. Back Seat Of My Car
2. Detention Girl
3. Let's ****
4. Drug Store
5. Skin Poppin' Slut
6. **** You Up And Get You High _ _
7. Insect Whore _ _
8. Flesh Tantrum _ _
9. SFVD _ _
10. What Hit You _ _
11. Astro Boy _ _
12. ************

GOLDEN THROATS VOL. 1 & 2...Some of the most horrible celebrity warblings ever assembled (from various sources). Listen at your own risk!! (Recommend that you only listen to 1 or 2 tracks at a time to avoid permanent brain/aural damage).
