websites besides ebay to buy old consoles/games/supplies(Atari,etc.)
I just decided to get back into some older games and was wondering if there are any websites that sell the older stuff besides ebay. I want to get another Atari 2600 and a 7800. maybe even some other consoles too. of course I want to pick up a bunch of games too. I need to get a powerpack and an extra controller for my current 2600. I just pulled it out of my attic and gave it a good cleaning. it looks like brand new again.

you know, I am working on starting a website that sells older game just because I have not found one that sells games complete. I am not talking about Atari games, but Genesis, SNES, NES, that generation. I was also thinking of making it so you could trade games in for credit. At any rate, estarland.com is a pretty good site, though, I have never ordered from them.

chrishicks, why not just buy a 7800( it will play both 2600 and 7800 games)
bunny, ebay has alot of genesis, nes, and snes game complete, I have bought hundreds on there, one of my favorites(rarity wise) was the exclusive rental only John Madden Championship edition for the Sega Genesis

chris, you can check ebay, there are only around 57 to 60 US release atari 7800 you can get most of them still sealed on ebay right now.
bunny, if you do start a site liek this please let me know, I am curreently trying to complete my NES,SNES,Genesis,TG-16, and Dreamcast collections, and while I also do not like ebay that is the best place right now.
also about waiting for auctions to end all I do is email the seller offer them a certain amount(the max you are willing to pay) and 8 time out of 10 they will end the auction early
I won some dreamcast games on ebay on Wednesday night, and just got them today.

I haven't found any sealed 7800's on ebay. another thing, if I buy one on ebay and it is broken, is there someplace that repairs these? could I get lucky and have a local tv/vcr repair shop fix it?

How many more do you need for your NES collection?
I started a NES collection last year, but kind of got side tracked since. I think I have a little over 300 games so far... I suppose I'm *almost* halfway there. It gets kinda frustrating since there are so many (not to mention there's a bunch of titles that are just terrible). I'd love to find a site where you could just buy them outright and not have to wait for a bid to end like eBay.

I've actually got a 2600 with about 40 games and some NES games (~10) that I was going to sell. Send an email to me if either of you are interested. I'm not looking to make a huge profit, I'm just looking to clear out some room in my tiny apt.

Ok. so far I have won an atari 7800 complete with games and an atari 2600 "vader" version complete(minus power pack) with games. now I would like to build up my game selection so I was wondering if it would be best to buy more complete systems/games instead of just the games or what? would it really be cheaper to just buy the games?

Hey Chris, do you want your games complete, I know there is one sller than has at least 15 different 7800 games brand new, and not that much either I believe less than $10 each with BIN, I prefer to collect my games complete, I currently only have 77 fully complete NES games, but have close to 600 carts.
you should go on ebay and check out Bubble bath babes for NES it is at $300 with 9 days left , one of the very few XXX games for a console
