Help!! Pioneer Elite RPTV turning green!

Lately my 520HD has been displaying a greenish tint during dimmly lit sceens in dvds, video games, or during broadcast tv. The whole screen displays this green tint evenly over the entire 53 inch screen. It looks like the grey scale is out of whack because when I bring up the brightness everthing seems to get washed out with this green tint. The tint adjustment has very little if any affect. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't see any defined green lines. The whole screen has a greenishness about it. Space scenes from shows such as Star Trek: Enterprise especially show this greenishness well. Could this be a grey scale, or contrast adjustment? Something in the service menu? The tv is 2 years old and just started exhibiting this problem about 2 months ago.

Sounds like the green tube is brighter than the red and blue ones.

Is your two-year warranty up yet? It may need to be adjusted or repaired.

Do you have the avia disk or another set up disk?

If not it might be worth getting and seeing if it is just a color adjustment.

Check you componenet cables and be sure they are all snuggly fit! You will get color distortion like you mention when one of the cables comes loose.

The screen has a greenish tint through every input including RF, S video and composite and not just component. I guess it could be possible that the brightness on the green crt is brighter than the blue and red ones. Is it possible for a tech to adjust the brightness on each crt individually?
