Which Crack the Sky remasters would you buy?
Animal Notes (1976)
Safety in Numbers (1977)
Live Sky (1978)
Photoflamingo (1981)
Please select any or all titles you would definitely buy as I am trying to determine if there are enough to warrant a release.

I would definately pick up Animal Notes and Safety in Numbers. Both are great.
BTW, has anyone heard anything about the DVD they were supposed to film at the Recher Theatre?

There has to be a minimum number of people interested in buying any or all of these titles as remasters or it wouldn't be feesible to release them. I'm gathering as many names as possible to submit to Lifesong. They already released the first self-titled lp (1975) and White Music (1980) and need at least 500 sales to justify each re-release. Vote for any titles you'd buy. Thanks.
The dvd is still in the works.
I didn't add other titles such as The End (1984) and World in Motion1 (1983) because they were released on another label, Criminal Records, and I don't know if they'll ever get released on cd.

Okay I got you. Didn't they release Animal Notes and White Music on one CD? I can't remember what two releases were on the same CD. Anyway I would definately be interested in remasters of these.
Are you from the Baltimore area? I haven't seen too many Crack the Sky fans outside of this area.

They did release the following titles in 1988/1989:
Crack the Sky/White Music (deleting a handful of songs for time)
Animal Notes/Safety in Numbers (deleting a brief song for time)
Live Sky/Live on WBAB (deleting tracks from Sky)
By today's standards they really needed to be upgraded to 24-bit technology not to mention reinstating the missing songs. Plus they're adding bonus tracks and demos.
I'm from Northern Virginia but I met CTS fans while I was in Los Angeles, CA and they come from all over including Canada to see them live every year. They have fans all over the world. Check out this link to see how far the fan base reaches:

Unfortunately, the dvd probably will not happen because there were too many different types of video used and it doesn't mix very well together. The band is just going to shoot another show instead in the future. As for future cd remasters, I don't have an update for you.
However, their recent 3-hour acoustic show will be available on cd soon.
