Nice. :) Any way to have as part of the options, an auto-login for dvdtalk? A login button that remembers your username and password would be really nice.

Also under "Search" in the various stores categories, it would be nice to have the fav-icons next to the store names. And An option to trim down the bar a little. I love the DVDTALK forum button, but i have little need for the Review button and would love to make it go away.

"Clear Cache" under "options" just brings up a blank dialog box with Yes or No as options. And "Clear History" seems to do nothing.

(Win 2000 svr. / IE 6.0)

I hear there's a new over-the-counter cream that will clear that right up.

Don't ban me! I'll download the toolbar when I get home from work. ;)

It's a highlighter for the words you entered into the search box. It'll be grayed out until you do a search

Any chance of you getting this to work for mozilla? I want it!

I've never even tried the Google Toolbar so I just played around with it. I like the auto fill and pop-up blocker feature but don't really care for the rest of it. Think I prefer just having the links to search that way.

Wish it would automatically clear a previous search when you click the search bar again to type a new one rather being limited to clearing it each time either via the clear button or highlighting it all manually and deleting (can't even double click to highlight it all). I had unchecked the drop-down search history as well as everything else under the search options minus make Google the default search for IE.

When I uninstalled it it reset my standard buttons text labels so I had to configure those again. It also didn't uninstall the Google folder it created in the program groups nor its .dll file as well as remove the Google folder in the users application data folder (the one that the auto fill file info is stored though it did delete that file). A good uninstall program should not have left those behind and I hate having to go around to clean up after a program.

Lastly, explorer.exe refused to shutdown on a reboot which rarely happens on this computer.

Anyway, perhaps I will try this one after the final release. Perhaps include the screenshot (edit; I included it below also) of what it looks like so everyone can see it like you did in the other thread (I'm a visual person).

It won't install on my laptop (XP Home). :(

I also have the Yahoo browser (which I detest, but need). Could this be the conflict? IE is the default.

it hasn't been tested with the Yahoo browser, so that may be the conflict

I love the design and capabilities, but I had to uninstall due to some issues that it began to cause. I'm running XP Pro with IE 6, by the way.

Basically, pages were opening and refreshing painfully slow. In some cases, I had to manually refresh a page to get the latest content. Also, my pointer would flicker and in some cases disappear completely everywhere on the screen except for the toolbar at the bottom. I finally had to uninstall after I received a Virtual Memory warning. After uninstalling none of these things have repeated.

That said, I can't wait for the next version. It's a great little tool.

Here is a feature I'd love to see... being able to switch the default search function. I.e. it'd be nice if I could set it to only search DVD Reviews and later change it back to google, etc.

I also experienced the "disappearing pointer" problem, and it didn't matter if IE was the active app. I'm running Windows 2000 SP3 & IE 6.

Just figured out what is causing this. There is a mouse pointer option called "Hide pointer while typing" in the IntelliPoint properties. Resetting this option made the problem go away, so I've reinstalled the toolbar.

Great to hear that this bug has been solved. Hope to have the final version out in early march.

Any other store/resource searches we should add??
