Gamecube Linux Released

Finally I can complete my Linux empire of consoles. I doubt this will be as easy as doing the xbox was, but we'll see. I'll let you know how it goes.

I don't get why you would even want to convert a gamecube to a linux box?

linux, yeah, that's easy. If they can get windows to run on it, then that would be an accomplishment.

Nice little server for $99, and takes up a hell of a lot less room then my linux xbox. But it is yet TBD, I won't get around to it until this weekend.

Plus you can still play games on it. It's just one more feature. Why put a GBA player on the GC? etc.

The site is not being served from linux as far as I know. Perhaps Nintendo gave them a call?

The Xbox is much better suited for something like this, since it's faster, has a hard drive, and is rumored to be dropping to $99 as well.

It's good enough for dvdtalk.com.
