Ultimate fate of the Dwarfs?
I know that all of the elves left Middle Earth, as told at the end of ROTK. But what of the dwarfs? Did they ultimately stick around and then fade away?

They moved into that big tree in Lothlorien and started making cookies. Sadly, they lost all their cultural identity when a marketing director suggested that elve's make better cookies.

there are only like 2 female dwarves to every five male dwarves and despite their scarcity, many female dwarves did not marry. so not many baby dwarves were being produced. also, due to the scarcity of females the males had to satisfy each other so to speak and largely ended up banging each other and losing interest in women altogether. the men banged each other into extinction.

the rings were either recovered by sauron or swallowed up by dragons.

The Dwarf men were too busy banging each other, trying somehow to proliferate and have heirs, and so's they was robbed whens they weres doing the deed.
