WILD THINGS unrated edition!!!!
An online retailer has kindly got in touch with us regarding a surprising new addition into their title database. It would appear that Columbia Tristar will be releasing an unrated edition of Wild Things this coming April. This is expected to coincide with the straight to video release of the sequel Wild Things 2. I'm afraid that's just about all we know at the moment, although I imagine an official announcement can't be a million miles away. Great news for fans in need of more Denise Richards action though I imagine!

Every time somethine is re-released as "uncut" & everyone get's all excited for female nudity. It rarely if ever delivers.
I'm sure the uncut footage will just be more of Kevin's bacon & probably some gratuitous male butt.

Hell, I'd be happy with more twisted plot developments. I actually enjoyed the movie, disregarding all nudity. Except the tooth scene. That sucked.

It really doesn't take much to become "unrated" ..... any change from the version submitted to the MPAA, even if it has nohing to do with sex or violence. makes it an "unrated version" if it is not re-submitted.

Still there better be some worthwhile yummy footage to this film. The theatrical version to myself felt like a wannabe exploitation film that teases you,but never dares 'go there' for fear of going into NC-17 territory.
Besides more Kevin Bacon is not a bad thing,he is actually really hot & attractive. So that is a plus. Would love some more Neve & Denise action as well.
So we will see what turns up in this version. Big difference would be comparing the running time. If it's only one minute longer,or a few seconds. Then you know not to expect much.

My question about this movie was not if Neve took it off we already know she does not do nude scenes. My question was about Denise Richards if you watch the scene very closely you never really see her face may be 2 body doubles if you ask me.
I think the unrated is going to be all about more Kevin Bacon.
