Brute Force [Xbox] Platinum Hit

Just wanted to let you know that Brute Force has joined the list of Xbox Platinum Hits, which means it is now on store shelves for an MSRP of $19.99.

MS could sell anything it labeled as a "Platinum Hit." If it really wanted to spur xbox sales, every game should go platinum after a year. Around Christmas parents buy anything and everything that is cheap.

Serioulsy.....did Brute Force do that well? Does it count as a million seller if you sell a few copies and those get sold back to EB and bought as used over and over again?

If I recall the hype for this was strong but I didn't think it lived up to the buzz. My friend brought it over when it first came out and he insisted we play it. After an hour I made up a reason I had to leave my place because he refused to stop playing. I gave this game a fair shot and just could not get into it and from what I had heard it was the same way for a bunch of other people.

I thought they usually waited a year before moving games to plainum hits, players choice, etc.

MoD, I pretty much agree with your comments there. I bought into the hype, and actually made the mistake of buying two copies of the game (both with store credits to my defense) to take advantage of my system linked multi-player gaming days.

And while I still keep telling myself that it wasn't that bad, and that someday I'll go back and finish the darn game, I'll admit that any time I spend on Brute Force will be wasted time.

2 copies? You poor poor man.

I am glad you agree with me. I thought maybe I was thread crapping and not stating a fact.

I paid $20 for this game and I felt like I paid too much.
