I can't choose between Beverly Hills Cop and Coming to America. They're both hilarious.

Has to be one of the first three. If he has done anything but unadulterated crap since Coming to America, I haven't seen it.

Trading Places, followed VERY closely by Coming to America. Since then, Eddie hasn't had any movies that reach the comedic highs that those 2 movies do.

Ooooh!!! That's good a good one!

<talemyn runs off to start a new poll called "Which are better . . . Apples or Oranges?">

OT . . . Trading Places without hesitation. Second place would go to Beverly Hills Cop 2 and the Coming To America.

PS. You know these polls are kind of stupid because I bet not a lot of people saw most of his movies. Therefore a majority of us shouldn't vote becasue they haven't seen them all.

Kind of like talking to someone about politics who hasn't read the paper/internet or a book in decades. (Think "mostly" those people that gather in large numbers to protest something)

What makes you think that? It'[s not like they were small indie films or anything . . .

We have a lot of young (there are more 16 yr olds coming here than you might think) ones on here who have not seen any movie before 1990.

My case in point the Lynch poll thread. People are admitting to seeing Mulhulland Dr. and maybe one more of his movies and voting. Now, how the hell can you vote on a filmmaker if you haven't seen all or at the very least the majority of his movies.

How can ANYONE not give props to Harlem Nights? Not only the best EM flick ever but one of the best comedies of all time and the perfect way for Dick Pryoer to end his career.

I gotta go with "Trading Places'...

BHC, 48 Hours and CTA are good films but I think "Trading Places" takes this with a comfortable margin.
