The Blind Date
30 mins.
Larry takes a backseat to Ben Stiller, but he's still the front-runner in the eyes of Mel Brooks; Cheryl's cousin has a few tricks up his sleeve for Larry.
I didn't find this episode too funny. A few laughs from me, but not many. It's too bad Ben Stiller left, he was great on the show.

The scene in the car with Ben Stiller was great, Larry had finally met his match in being a finicky a-hole. You must admit that Stiller is very good at being annoying.
The last restaurant scene was hysterical, should have ended the show with that.

Oh damn, this was LOL funny, all the way through. There were so many little tidbits that all came full circle by the end of the episode. BTW, Moon Zappa played the veiled blind date.
Believe it or not, I also don't have a problem with not changing seats if I started in the backseat, and the person in the front passenger seat is dropped off before me. So Larry's take on the situation wasn't all that foreign to me, but watching Ben's reaction to Larry's obstinance was hilarious.

I've actually had that exact same argument about changing seats. I was in Larry's situation. I'll miss Ben Stiller being on the show, but I'm not surprised he's leaving. Dude seems like he has about half a dozen movies coming out this year, so he must be busy.
Overall, I liked this episode a lot more than the first two. Those made me smile, but this one actually had me laughing. Hopefully, it's a sign of things to come.

I'm going to miss Ben Stiller, he and Larry David are great together. Last night's episode was hilarious, I can't imagine what Mel Brooks partners (For the Producers) were thinking as they watched Larry at the table in the diner. Larry getting hit with the egg had me rolling as well.

I was just about to start a thread on this show. I thought it was the funniest one since "The Doll". Larry and thoe car wash guys were killing me..."Looks like we know what happened to the sun screen" and "whoa...not so hot." Great.
And what Mel Brooks' guys must have thought when they saw Larry at the dinner table with 3 "mentally-challeneged" (damn I hate PC words--why can't I just say Corkies?) and a covered Muslim woman.

I didn't think that this show was great - definitely the weakest of the season so far, IMO. But it was all worth it to see Cheryl in her Genie outfit. Wow!

Ben Stiller was great....Larry is such a lunatic...perfectly normal that he should move up front! I'd be mad too! Wasn't my favorite so far, that had to be Ben's Birthday Party last week. But the whole exchange with Jeff and how he's "using" Cheryl was f'n hillarious.

I've been in Ben's position as the driver with a passenger in the back, and I don't mind driving them around that way either (since vice-versa of being the passenger in the back seat is also okay with me), so that scene was damn funny to me.

Some lady looking like a Vegas showgirl appeared (I forgot her name), and then Jeff's wife Susie shows up in her Halloween (dominatrix) outfit, which torments Larry to no end.
