I love ERNEST GOES TO JAIL, especially when he vaccums the celing. Another favorite of mine is ERNEST SCARED STUPID. When he calls that troll "booger breath" before throwing it out of a truck, that was just....amazing.

Ernest Goes to Camp. Yes, I am a proud fan. That movie never fails to make me laugh until I cry.

ernest goes to camp is the best. I always liked goes to jail the best when i was a kid watching them. Ernest saves christmas is awesome...i think it's a tie between goes to camp and saves xxxmas....but goes to camp is the funniest...i'm not sure if i ever saw goes to africa or in the army....man he was a talented dood.

You don't have to wish too hard, since Jim Varney is dead.

Ernest Goes to Jail

The impressions at the jail make that #1.

I've only seen Goes to Camp and Saves Christmas, and Goes to Camp is better.

There's a lot of love for Goes to Jail on this theard, is it really any good?

Yeah. The DVD is 4:3, but for $5.50 at Wal-Mart, you can't go wrong (unless you're a loser who hates Ernest).

As good as Ernest Goes to Camp is ... to me, Ernest Saves Christmas gets more to the heart of Ernest P. Worrell as a character. Gulp. Did I just say that with a straight face? Here's my ongoing ode to Ernest on DVD:

scared stupid has always been my favorite, mainly because it was one of the first movies I saw in the theaters.

I loved Camp, Stupid, Jail & Christmas... Some of the others got pretty stale, but IMHO were still funny.

RIP Slinky Dog. :(

You forgot Dr. Otto and the Riddle of the Gloom Beam. I saw this a long time ago on VHS, and would love to see a DVD of it...

As for commericals ... 100 of them are split between Africa and Army as extras.

It did have Ernest in it, as well as many of the other characters that were associated primarily with the Ernest films... :D

It did have Ernest in it Uh huh. For roughly TWO minutes. The character name isn't even listed in the credits (despite what IMDb says). Ernest's segments were filmed later and slapped onto the beginning and end of the flick. Which is terrible, by the way. If anything, it's more of an "Auntie Nelda" movie than an Ernest movie.

Saves Christmas and Goes to Jail are my favorites.
