Netflix survey... answer it?
This might sound a little paranoid, but I'm curious if I should answer a Netflix email I received about delivery times. All they want to know is how long it took to receive one movie in my queue. The reason I hesitate is the delivery time is always only one day. Seems that they could use that info to slow things down...
...probably not though.

I've gotten that a few times, I have usually answered it. If nothing else, I thought they would use that info as 'unsolicited testimonial' kind of thing, or a way to improve their business.
My ship times haven't decreased since I've answered it.

Once upon a time, I lied and told them i was getting discs one day later than I really was, thinking the same thing you are. After that, most of my deliveries did start to take an extra day. Ever since, I've truthfully answered it, and the service has been quicker. So yes, I think they really do use that information to determine the best shipping center for you.

this helps them to look at where future wherehouses are. Previously, they had a wherehouse in Cali that my flicks were coming from. It took about 3-4 days to get a title after they sent it out. After filling out a couple of these emails in the past year and a half, they opened up a wherehouse in my city. Now I have a 1 day wait once the item is shipped.
