New to the western genre and needs recommendations!

I would like to see more westerns! Good ones, too! Any suggestions from someone who has only seen Once Upon A Time in the West and A Fistful of Dollars? I loved them both, by the way.

Though I don't recall their sharing any scenes together, Henry Fonda and Jimmy Stewart were both in How the West Was Won (1962). They also appeared together in On Our Merry Way (1948). Both films are available on DVD.

Not only is "They Died with Their Boots On" one of my favorite Westerns it is also one of my Top 10 Favorite Films of All-time. Glad to see someone else enjoys it as well.

As far as some more suggestions:
Costner's "Wyatt Earp" always seems to be overlooked as far as modern Westerns go (the film not yet being released on DVD no doubt contributes to this).

The Quick and the Dead--the one with Gene Hackman and Sharon Stone--was better than I expected. Viewed as a send-up of many of the western cliches, it's pretty entertaining and stylishly made.

Yep, they appear in different stories within the film, so I didn't think it qualified as a "pairing."
