Pop-ups out of control in Video Game forum!!

I'm getting 1, sometimes 2 pop-ups for EVERY single page that loads in VG Forum.

They are Babylon 5 and DDD adverts.

I'm getting Digitaleyes popunders everytime I advance a page on a multipage thread.

Edited to add: Unless I don't close it, then I only get the one popunder.

OK, you shouldn't get more than a couple of pops in the forum. I'm testing a new cookie method to try to make sure it's not pop city

I am being constantly bombarded with Babylon5 and MI5 popups. About one per minute. If I close them, they come back. If I leave them up, they are still refreshing about once per minute which makes reading this site very cumbersome. I only have dialup and the pop up freezes my screen for about 5 seconds each time it pops up or refreshes itself.
This is extremely annoying and makes reading this site rather difficult.

MAKE SURE YOUR COOKIES are enabled! If you're using IE, then go into

Tools > Internet Options > Privacy

and go to the bottom where there it says:

Web Sites
To Overide Cookie Handling for Individual Web Sites click the Edit button,

Click the Edit button and then enter http://ads.kleinman.com and click allow also add http://www.dvdtalk.com and you should have no problems.

Extremely important so that you don't get tons of pops

Tried this, and I still get a popup for every page. Can this be fixed, please?

Thanks!

I always allow cookies so I assumed that was never the issue.

Well, these could be my last days as a visitor and contributor to DVD talk, as I still get a popup for EVERY page in EVERY forum.

Geoff, I don't know what you changed, but can it be reverted? I know you need income from popups, but this is getting out of hand.

Thanks for your reply.

I think you mean that if you had Google Toolbar popup blocker, it would have blocked 1829 so far. But of course you dont because that violates the rules.

Geoff, if you don't already, I would suggest using session variables instead of cookies for the ad software.
