Blown away sucks

Ok there was a review done on this site which gave it a 5/5 stars. This was a absolutely horrible movie. And I like bad movies such as troll 2, underworld etc... This movie deserved maybe 1 1/2 starts. Only thing that was half way good was the sex scenes and even those in my opinion sucked they were to short. What a travesty of a pic. The person who did this review should be ashamed to give it such a high rating.

Someone in this forum also said it was OAR, but according to the back cover on the shelf at Best Buy it says: "This film has been modified from its original version. It has been formatted to fit your screen." That's usually a dead giveaway for pan-and-scan. Can you tell us whether it is OAR or pan-and-scan?

It's Open Matte. And I happen to like a naked Nicole Eggert, maybe you were expecting some Cory-Dong-Wong-Diddle-Humpers or something, but I wanted my naked little hottie

it was open matte but the film was filmed 1:85:1 so its not the real aspect ratio. Nicole has a nice ass but has small tits. Shes not that hot and didnt save this film.

I thought you were talking about Blown Away from 1994 with Jeff Bridges, Tommy Lee Jones, and Lloyd Bridges in which case I was going to call you crazy and maybe even some explatives ( ), but I guess you are talking about the 1992 film I have never seen.

I thought Tommy Lee Jones played a good bad guy, but Jeff Bridges' performance was kind of weak.

If you're not happy with Blown Away, try Blow-Up and Blow Out.

but wasnt the film a direct to video release so it might have been composed for full screen?

also isnt it ironic nicole does her only nude scene before boob job, then when she gets a huge boob for BAYWATCH, she refuse nudity????

I'd probably refuse nudity if the plastic surgeon only gave me one big boob, too.

I loved Blown Away. Tommy Lee Jones was great in that film. He needs more bad guy roles and needs to get off the Fugitive type of roles.

How about Blow'd Up! with George Takei and Anna Nichole Smith? This movie's gonna blow.

Which "Blown Away" is the thread about? I thought the initial poster was writing about the 1993 Corey film, but people are also writing about the 1994 Tommy film.

It's threads like this that remind me DVD Talk is still the home of insightful, relevant film discussion.

Check out Under Seige. He is great (and funny) as a bad guy in this film!
