Any Neo Geo Pocket Color Deal ??

My friend try hook me up with Neo Geo Pocket Color System with 17 games around $138.00. I never have Neo Geo Pocket COlor so i don't know it good or bad deal.

Here's the list with the games come with the NEO GEO Pocket Color.

1. Samurai Showdown 2
2. Fatal Fury First Contact
3. King of Fighters R-2
4. Metal Slug: 1st Mission
5. Neo Turf Masters (Green)
6. Pac Man
7. Dive Alert
8. Puzzle Link
9. Sonic the Hedghog Pocket Adventure
10. Dark Arms
11. Puzzle Link 2
12. Puzzle Bobble Mini
13. Pocket Tennis
14. Card Fighters Clash - SNK VS. CAPCOM
15. Metal Slug: 2nd Mission
17. SNK vs. Capcom

All Around $138.00

I wondering is GOOD Deal or Bad? Also, is worth if you have Neo Geo Pocket Color ? How's NEO GEO Pocket Color Compare with GBA SP ??

THanks you

Well, the GBA has tons of games and is the main [and only] hand held system

NEO GEO Pocket Color is pretty much dead..but
If you like all those great SNK games, and enjoy 2d arcade gaming, that system and the games alone will keep you busy for a LONG TIME..

Metal Slug 1, 2, Samurai Showdown 2, King of Fighters, and Sonic the Hedgehog are worth it alone..as far as games go.

However, there are 2 Sonic games on GBA, plus the new Sonic Battle, and the Street Fighter games are almost console perfect [not as near arcade perfect though], and there is a new King of Fighters EX2 I just ordered that from what I read in reviews is very faithful to arcade versions....

I would say that's a pretty damn sweet deal, especially if you don't mind just playing those games since the system is basically dead.

If you enjoy SNK games, then by all means, go for it. I bought one recently for Metal Slug (love the series) and picked up Sonic and Card Fighters Clash as something to play on the side - turns out, CFC is one of the most addictive games I've ever played - I put 35+ hrs into it before stopping.

I personally like the NGPC better than the GBA, but the NGPC is dead. Basically tho, every game worth having is in that lot you're getting.

If anyone else is interested in picking up one of these handhelds, and isn't able to get in on the "Neo Geo Pocket Color System with 17 games around $138.00" deal listed above... ... Amazon has the system for $29.99. If you want to avoid eBay that is.

and you can get it and tons of games on ebay, including a pack with a new system and six games for 69.99, I believe. Gamestop online is also selling the packs of new games, but I haven't seen them in any of their stores.

Doesn't sound like a good deal to me. You can get the system new for $30 or thereabouts.

I had one with 3 games and it's more than worth that price. SNK vs Capcom is incredible and the Card Fighters Clash is also a ton of fun and keeps you going a LONG time.

Can't decide if I want to try and buy another one since I just sold my old one last year or just pick up a GBA.

The one game I really wanted but could never find a decent deal on was Faselei - never released in the US.

I found my original receipt for mine last night, it was dated 24 Jan 2000 and cost 99.46 at Wal Mart. Also listed were several Star Wars figures. I remember enjoying the heck out of Sonic, and had Dark Arms for a while, but it just couldn't keep my interest. I've had it listed on half.com for some time and it hasn't gotten a bite.

It's not a bad system, it's just after the GBASP's backlighting, I don't think I can pickup another system.

If anyone wants this system with Sonic, I'd be willing to trade it for a game. Make me an offer, but please, no Superman 64.
