Just curious..I have a bit of mad money, and I'd rather not spend 70 bucks for a Xbox Live kit. Does anyone know where I can get a good price? I've searched Froogle, and some come up with Version 1, Version 2, and Version 3. Besides the games inside, are there any other differences? I already have Mechassault, so I really don't need Version 3.
I'm interested in the Xbox Dance Dance Ultramix as well. Any good deals floating around?

Version 1 came with a few demos and had a code that was supposed to expire 10/31/03. Appently the code may still work, but I wouldn't risk it. Version 2 comes with the full version of Tetris Worlds and has a 1 yr subscription code that expires on 3/31/04. This is the version you should seek out if you can find it. V3 has a full mechassault game and the latest expiration date. As you know v1 and 2 had an MSRP of $49.99 and V3 is $69.99. We've seen deals in the past (target had them on clearance for $35 or even $25, but it's been a while). I was at Circuit City recently and they had the $50 subscription card for $34.99, but you'll need the headset as well, so that won't work for you. I'm sure if you looked long enough you could find a deal, but at very least, don't get V3. There are still V2 available

It is valid until 3/31/04. I have a box here in my house. You very well might not find a kit in your local Best Buy since they've been discontinued and it's after the holiday rush. The website only lists V3.

Thanks for the coupon. I brought it by the Circuit City and asked if they'd pricematch it. They said sure, so I picked up the Version 3 kit for 39.99 plus tax. Now I don't need Mechassault, so I guess it's off to the trading booth for it!

Yeah, it was 49.99 in the store. The card by itself was 34.99, but since I didn't have a headset, I picked up the full thing.

My local CC was out of the full kits, so I wasn't able to use the BB $10 coupon, so I bought the 12 month card for $29.99 after the BB GGC coupon.
