I was just going to place and order with DVDSoon and noticed that free shipping only applies to orders of 5 items or more. Interesting, since they limit all orders to no more than 8 items! I hope that this is only temporary and that free shipping will return soon. I knew free shipping wasn't going to be permanent, but hoped that they'd allow it for perhaps 2 or more items or something similar.

Yeah, it's too bad you can't just quickly order one or two DVDs and get free shipping any more. On the up side, now buying six to eight gives you free first class shipping. Presumably this will be much faster than the standard shipping which can be excruciatingly slow at times. Anyway, I'm testing it; I just preordered six movies. And they have kept the free shipping feature of sending out the discs as they are released.
