I bought the Initial 5.8 inch portable Dvd Player and WoW!!! What a great player!!! It worked great for 2 days and then this morning I put in a Twilight Zone Dvd and towards the end of the episode about 20 minutes it froze and started up a couple of times and then the third time it froze up for good. Shut the unit down and restarted it a few times and it just would not work correctly anymore. When I got home this afternoon I tried every disc that had previously worked in it and none would work now. Usually, I would just get a blue screen with loading written in the corner or after some time it would play the copyright thing and then a black screen and then the blue screen but thats about it.
I took it back to Circuit City where the guy wanted me to exchange it for another and I told him I thought it would be best if I got my money back so I did.
I had looked at some reviews of this product before buying on the internet and most were positive but I do remeber seeing some from people who had theirs stop working suddenly but not this sudden. Oh well, atleast I found out in time so that I could get a refund and not have to try the service route. Maybe thats why Circuit City wanted 70.00 for their extended service thingie.
