Warner brothers Two disc

does anyone know what the next warner Brothers two disc special edition dvd will be after My fair Lady? And what is your favorite one they have put out so far. I would have to say Casablanca and yankke Doodle dandy. Casablanca is a great movie but yankee doddle dandy was done so great with thier recreations of the movie experience from that time. (sorry about spellings)

My favorite is the Adventures of Robin Hood but almost all of the Warner 2 disc SEs have been highly satisfying.

They have all been great but I really gushed over the Citizen Kane disc. The documentary really made this rise above the others for me. I'll be definitely getting My Fair Lady and I really hope they announce a King Kong disc.

My favorite was the Warner's Legend box that included the Adventures of Robin Hood, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Yankee Doodle Dandy, and an extra bonus DVD.

Depends on your criteria for 'announced'...Barrie Maxwell has reported that a dbl disk SE of Forbidden Planet will be released in August here . And in his most recent column, he mentioned a new SE of The Searchers but did not specify a two-disk set (we can hope).

Actually, new pressings of Doctor Zhivago and Citizen Kane have "Special 2-Disc Edition" banners on the front.

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde box set a Warner Bros release???

There is a two disc DVD set out in early January of both the Paramount 1932 Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde with Frederick March and the (MGM?)1941 version with Spencer Tracy. The tiny logo looked like it was a Warner Bros release does anyone know about this title?

The WB release next Tuesday in the States is a single disc, as is The Postman Always Rings Twice, The Wind And The Lion, The Days Of Wine & Roses, & Where The Boys Are (all part of the wb/aol decision 2004 contest).

Its a shame that they couldn't make Blow-up into a two-disc set.

Does anyone know if the Chaplin Collection Volume 1 box counts as buying two DVDs for the "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" offer?

I purchased the Warner Legends set and it counted as 2 purchases. I called and asked though, I just don't know the phonw number offhand. It should be on Warner DVDs I think.

Some candidates I'd like to rule for Two-Disc Special Editions:

Goodfellas
Heat
Sleepers
The Shawshank Redemption
Batman
Batman Returns
Lethal Weapon
Dog Day Afternoon
Network
Mean Streets
Ocean's Eleven
(2001 - the disc has too few features...perhaps a double-dip in time for Ocean's Twelve?)
The Green Mile
The Maltese Falcon
The Road Warrior
The Exorcist
(Maybe both versions + a Friedkin commentary without screen description)
Deliverance
