for some reason, I cannot find a BB, CC, Sears, etc. that has the 50" sony rear projection or the Pansonic 50".

anyone have any leads? I am going for the 1-2 year no interest thang.

Why Sony? BB carries Mitsubishis. I'd definitely go with a Mitsu over either brand you named.
