Lord of the Rings Super Trailer

Hey you guys, don't know if you've seen this yet, but Movie-List.com created a Super Trailer for Lord of the Rings. I for one think this is FRICKIN' AWESOME:

LOTR Super Trailer

Clocking in at 6:44. Gave me goosebumps. Seriously. Enjoy!

Neat. It's like an abridged FOTR and TTT, with a hinting at ROTK.

It wasn't "created" by movie-list.com. The site just took the trailer from the Deluxe Edition of the ROTK CD soundtrack.

With few exceptions, I think this was put together in a very slapdash manner (I own the deluxe soundtrack with the DVD this was ripped from). The only part I think is very cool is when they show each of the fellowship with their well-known "my bow, my sword, my axe" lines and then clips of them fighting.

The Howard Shore documentary and extra songs and lyrics are very nice to have though.

I wish my slapdash efforts could look like this.

I like it quite a bit, except that they spend half the whole thing on Fellowship. Now, that would have been fine, except the sequence in Moria takes too long. They should have cut straight from Elrond saying "You must take the ring to Mt. Doom" to the title card "A Fellowship Breaks" or whatever it said, and had Gandalf falling, then move on to The Two Towers. When they showed the Moria stuff, it looked less like a trailer and more like a plot synopsis.

What good reason do you have to not put it on there?

I hadn't heard of a ROTK soundtrack with a DVD included, but that sounds pretty cool.

Is this trailer the only thing on it?

Man, that trailer has hella-spoilers, though.

I would have been pretty pissed off if they released that before I'd seen the films.

It gives away Boromir's death, Gandalf's death and return, etc.

Well, that would only suck for the people who never read the books. But think about it from my point of view. I knew all that shit was going to happen anyway. Spoilers or not, if I saw that preview 3 years ago out of nowhere at the beginning of some movie, I would have shit my pants. There's no question about it.

DAMN! Is it just me, or can anyone else not stop watching that trailer. It's almost as perfect as the movies themselves. All the great lines, the action. And the moment where Gollum says... "What did you call me?!" Oh man, that get's me everytime.

P.S.: Does anyone know the name of the song that plays at the end of the trailer?

If I'm not mistaken, that was "In Dreams" which is from the Fellowship soundtrack with the end credits theme "The Breaking of the Fellowship".
