New Receiver/Speaker combo
Now, that I have successfully sold off my old 7 speakers system and upgraded from a 32" TV to a 57" HDTV. I am looking for some suggestions on a new 7 speaker system with perhaps getting a new reciever.(That is if I am able to sell off my old receiver.)
I currently Have a ONKYO TXDS989, and I am looking for a speaker setup that I can get for around 2500 or so. Any suggestions on brands that I should go and demo. I have decided that I am ready to head to the speciality shops and bypass the mass retailers. Also, how about receiver suggestions. I think I am going to get a new DENON DVD player to go with my new TV because my old player does not do Progressive Scan.
Any input would be great! Thanks

Check out the following site: www.audioholics.com. They have the following recommendation for a system under $5,000.

They recommend Axiom Audio for your price range. After doing some more reseaerch, these speakers are highly thought of. I won't be purchasing my new system until next year, but when I do, thats where I'm headed.
Good luck.
