Spongebob Squarepants, the Movie!

I just read at Yahoo! Movies that "SpongeBob Squarepants, the Movie" will be released on November 19, 2004! I'm Ready! I'm Ready! I'm Ready!

Yeah, I have read about that a few months ago... I cannot wait to see it. I think it either has something to do with Patrick getting kidnaped from the sea or Patrick having to save everyone in Bikini Bottom. There have been a few rumored things out there.

The Spongebob Squarepants Movie Trailer!

http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramo...arepantsmovie/

I didn't think much of this when I heard the news, but if the movie is anywhere as creative as this trailer, I'll be first in line!

As if people dropping by to say, "Okay, I'm in line!" is any better? No, no it isn't.

I don't get it. If Spongebob is "not your bag" then why even waste time going into a threat about a Spongebob movie. If they made a movie with Bette Middler, Glen Close and Meryl Streep (I think I am going to be sick) I wouldn't take the time to even enter the thread because i know it's "not my bag."

This movie however, is my bag. LOL...I'M IN LINE!!!!

Where's all this hostility coming from? I didn't troll the other post, I didn't troll future posts, I merely said that I didn't want to see it.

I keep an open mind with most things, so I watched the teaser. After that, I was completely sure this movie wasn't up my alley, so I posted my (harmless) thoughts. Big deal. That's what we're supposed to do here...right? Or is this another thread where only positive feedback is appreciated? Geesh.

the hostility is coming from your pointless threadcrap....

that said, my daughter and I will be there for damn sure....Spongebob is one of the few kids shows out there that are entirely appealing to adults too....it's got a very "Ren & Stimpy" quality that has me cracking up more often than not....just showed my daughter the trailer and she wants to go NOW!

Hmm....I guess cause it's a year away the trailer is basically just there to get fans excited. Obviously it's more of a trailer for some excellent sub movies at this point. Kinda reminds me of the first Hulk trailer where there was no hint at any plot.

In any case, I know my son and I will be there.

It was a pretty creative trailer till the radar shaped spongebob popped up.

Thread crap? For saying it wasn't something I wanted to see? I didn't even say something like, "Your comments are almost as childish as your taste in movies."

Which I'm not saying, so calm down. But if saying a movie doesn't appeal to us is the equivalent of a thread crap, there are literally entire topics full in this sub-forum alone (see The Mask 2 thread, for example).

If you don't like Spongebob why do you keep coming in a thread about a movie about him? you have 4 of this threads 12 post (not including this one). It just seems like you're trying to pick a fight.

I hardly think defending my first post is trying to pick a fight. But whatever, I'm done here. Let the praise-only-posts begin.

To be honest, I thought it was goning to be live action (ala Scooby Doo). Thankfully, it wasn't. Nice little tease though.

That trailer is hilarious, I love when they take old footage and make it new again. Can't wait for this movie!

Cute trailer. I'll see the movie with my daughter anyway, but I loved seeing all the different sub movies in one trailer. How many were there? I counted Crimson Tide, Das Boot, Hunt for the Red October, and U-571. Am I missing any?

Not a spongebob fan but that was pretty creative.

Does this mean that next year Spongebob will be last years "In" thing.
