Anyone notice anything odd about the music or subtitles?
Over on TORC, people have noticed something strange.
Some people are reporting the prints they saw did not have subtitles for the Elvish in the movie.
Others (myself included) had subtitles ... but the music was mixed very, very low most of the time.
It seems people had either one or the other--no subtitles but decent volume music, or subtitles but with very quiet music.
Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone have an explanation for it? (Two different types of prints for two different projection/sound systems?)

In the same vein, when Aragorn and Elrond are in the tent during the Anduril-revealing scene, their last words together are in Elvish but there were no subtitles translating what they said. Anyone here know?

That had subtitles when I saw it.

I saw it twice at the same theater but on two different screens.
The scene in the tent with Elrond and Aaragorn had subtitles at one showing... no subtitles at the other.
Odd.

I saw the film in two different theaters opening day, both had subtitles and quite loud music. The ones without subtitles must have been bad projectionists who misframed.
