I don't see how they could possibly have that many preowned copies of titles like THUG and True Crime available...

Deus Ex GOTY and Thief II are both available with the newest Computer Gaming World magazine on a single DVD, which is only $8.99 compared to the $9.99 they are charging for each. I'd hate to find that out AFTER the fact.

However, if this deal is for real it would be a killer!
WTF? Can anyone shed some light on this one? Personally, I prefer their buy 2 get 1 free on preowned titles deals, which is a lot better than the listed buy 2 at $29.99 and get $10 off offer.

Not much there IMO. I don't buy much there anyway. I usually go through mom and pop stores or places like Target and Wal-Mart.

FYI, I just picked up Knights of the Old Republic at Blockbuster for $26. It is a corporate store so I would assume it is a standard price handed down to them.

Much cheaper than EB.

Well, count me in on that. I just found out reading your message that the GOTY edition was in that mag.

The worst part is, I waited to play the demo before I decided to open the game, and when I did, the soundtrack CD promised in the GOTY edition was missing. So now I've got to go back to EB and hope that they either switch it for one that has the soundtrack or take it back.

Guessing I'm not going to get my way (return it) though...

At least I'd like to have the soundtrack CD. I paid 10 bucks for it, might try to get that!

Well, i'd like that Gameboy advance SP, but i can't bring myself to spending even $50 bucks just to have my system backlit.

Also annoying is that i'd have to rebuy all my old add-ons.

Forget that, i'll just wait another year til the PSP or next Gameboy comes out.

Actually, you won't *need* most of the add-ons with an SP. Trash your lighting accessories (I never found a really good one anyway), screen protectors, rechargeable batteries/docking stations, cases, etc. Don't need any of them with an SP.

In fact, the *only* accessory you need is a headphone adapter or set of SP headphones. (I picked up a kit with headphones, a nice simple leather pouch, a 4-game folding leather case, a useless docking station, and a nifty usb-SP recharging cable, all for $15. Overkill but what the hey.)

And I was *never* happy with the GBA's screen except under direct sunlight--the SP's malways looks fine, uniformly lit with no glare.

On-topic: I might check out r&r racing and battlebots for $5 each. thx!
