Only the strong - Mark Dacascos
I was browsing upcoming titles and I saw this up for pre-order on dvd.
I've never seen it. It looks pretty cheesy. But I like Mark Dacascos and I'm willing to give it a try, if I get decent feedback.
For anyone who's seen this, your thoughts?
I'm especially interested in those who have seen (and liked) Brotherhood of the Wolf and Drive.
By the way, price range is around $8. Dang cheap. I'm guessing full screen for that price but can anyone confirm?

WOW!! how did i miss THAT?!?
i'll be getting he DVD for sure... well, unless FOX butchered the picture with P&S
it's a... yeah, cheesy movie... like Dangerous Mind without Michelle Pfeiffer & lots of ass-kicking
just like Tom Berenger's acion packed school teacher/ass-kicker the Subtitute
very enjoyable movie in my humble opinion
now, who's gonna bring in CRYING FREEMAN?!?!?!

It is kind of cheesy but there's a lot of good could that can be taken from it. Don't let the cheese stand in your way. Thanks for the links.
I still cannot get that chant out of my head- Ba da na way. . . ba da na way, ba na!

I love this movie & being a Dacascos fan it's a must own. Yeah, it's very cheezy but that is what makes it so great. Very, over the top, uber-cheezy villain with a horribly bad premise. But that's what movies like these are all about.
Reading the above link. People like Ebert are incapable of enjoying movies like these. They have to feel like they are too intelligent to possibly lower their standards & enjoy a B-movie for what it is.

interesting. I'm in no rush to see it right this minute, but I'll definately give it a try sometime. thanks for your feedback.
i probably should've made the links dvdtalk-friendly. Is there a way to make dvdtalk-referral links that point to specific items and not the retail home pages?

Wow.... I had completely forgotten about this movie. I like it a bunch though, and I will end up getting it. I have no clue why I like it though.
