We all know who will be the Rams QB in the future. No doubt Warner will be expendable next season. Garcia must go or become a back-up..

No.

At least his voice is a little more "manly" than Garcia's. Might increase the 49ers fanbase appeal among heterosexuals.

I'm sure Danny Boy will sign him up.

Kurt is done, Brenda just hasn't told us yet.

He'd make an expensive back-up.

Why in the bloody hell would you do that?

Garcia needs to let go of the present and realize that he is a broken-down QB, and we all know what the 49ers love to do with their broken-down QBs.

The 49ers have their "salary cap" friendly QB on their roster right now, and the scary thing is TO likes the guy.

What the Niners need to do is get rid of Erickson - STAT. Then make decisions in regards to their players.

Everyone knows I always comment on the Niners and Garcia/Owens. But yes, Erickson needs to go too.

Send them to Kansas City? :hscratch:

Garcia = he's playing fine. Did nobody see his 6 TDs last week (granted it was against the Cardinals)? No, he's not playing nearly as well as in 2000 or 2001 season, but he's a fine (average) QB for the NFL. Besides, they have enough other issues (like coach, TO) that they won't trade away Garcia.

Warner = he's had some bad outings in the past couple years. Okay, he's only had bad outings in the past couple years. But Martz "believes in him" and so should you. Uh, what exactly is Martz' belief? That he should be a backup QB for another team. -wink-

Thatll work, but I was aiming more for treating them like dirt.

Oh come on any true 49ers fan would love to see Rattay under center, Erickson coaching for Bumbf**k HS in Anchorage, and TO on another team.

Just imagine how salary cap friendly that would be.

Did I just read that right?

Did someone say start Dorsey?

only because he's the rookie... Rattay would be good, too. :p

 Is this a joke? :hscratch:

Anyone who knows anything about the Niners knows that the O-Line has had major problems with injuries this season... Warner would last about 5 minutes, if that. Rattay got clobbered behind that line vs the Packers... Without beefing up the O-Line and staying healthy, a mobile QB is a must have.

Garcia's cap number is too large to trade or release him. He'll have to restructure in the off season and will be the starter next year. Rattay is already locked up as the backup by signing a contract extension.

Dorsey has a lot to prove and plenty of time to prove it... It is possible that he may be the QB of the future. Time will tell.

Owens is as good as gone. The number one priority for the Niners is Julian Peterson, followed by Ahmed Plummer. You can win in today's NFL with an average QB and a very good defense... The Niners are well on their way to having an excellent defense.

Maybe. I don't think Warner's done. And Garcia has looked like crap. But I'd still try and bring back Garcia so long as it's at a reasonable price.

Guess that's a no no...

I don't think, Kurt Warner will be in St. Louis at the beginning of next season. Since, Bulger is going a good job and if he takes the team to the Superbowl consider Warner gone. There's no way St. Louis is going to pay $7-8 mil for a backup quarterback. Warner won't go to the Niner's either - since the 9'ers have Rattay on deck after Garcia. I think, the following teams are going after Warner after this season:

Arizona
Chicago
Tampa Bay
Detroit

Who else needs a QB? Warner does need to get to a need team to prove himself again since he hasn't one a game in his last eight starts.

Another "no" from here. Garcia had a bad year. Next year, he'll be all right. Takin' the 9ers to 16-0 and the Super Bowl. And he'll throw 50 TDs.

Just wait and see...

~bruce Yeah, he may end up in Chicago, they're known for their many QBs that start over the years. It's like a child..."hmm, will this fit? Ok, how about this one?".

Warner will go with Keyshawn accross the bay.

I think Warner still has all the tools -- he just got shell-shocked playing in Mike Martz's brainiac system.

Give him a decent offensive line and a good running game and I think he can return to his Super Bowl form.

Hmm... you know, the Panthers have a decent offensive line and a good running game... :hscratch:

That'd be an interesting duo.

What if Jerry Rice came back to SF for one last year?
