So Kazaa is pretty much dead, right?

I am getting a song at 1k/sec now....at that's good on my campus network. I think its safe to say the record industry killed Kazaa.

So what's the next program? Anything out there "legal" and not in shutdown yet?

Uh oh.....I think we're on shaky ground here. BTW, I am having no problems with kazaa. Seems to be running pretty fast.

I don't know about Kazaa, but Kazaa Lite is dead. Sharman Networks charge them with copywrite infringement or something. Ironic, eh?

There seems to be a lot fewer users than there used to be. It still works, though (even K-Lite and K++). It's just marginally harder to download the software.

sounds like your campus got smart and capped the kazaa ports. You get 1/k cause EVERYONE uses kazaa

KaZaa Light works fine for me. There are never no less than 3,000,000 people on it every time I use it. I get songs in a matter of seconds, unless it is an obscure song that isn't being shared by that many people. No problems here for me.
