Subject says it. They reference this guy every show but i have no idea who they're talking about.

I listen to all the sports radio and TV sports talk shows I can...and all I know about him is that (I think, hehe) he used to be a football coach and analyst, and that he has a funny voice that everyone mocks. <beano cook>That's HORrible</beano cook>. He's usually on the college football radio show on ESPN radio late Saturday afternoons.

That's "unbelievable"!
Beano has a peculiar way of speaking that is easily and often imitated. He's also ESPN college football historian, he should be all over ESPN now that Heisman week is under way.

That's right. I forgot about that.
Of course, I remember going to college in Central PA in the early 90s and hearing about Powlus. You'd think he was the 2nd coming or something. Yes, Beano definitely was far from the target on that one, but he is still a character though.

God i love that show. When they started talking about how Tiger's fiance was the #1 pick in the swedish nanny draft, but that he shoudl have traded down for a #4 and a #6, I almost pissed my pants laughing.

My jaw dropped when the PTI boys implied that their viewers wouldn't know who he is. Guess they were right. I believe I once had a poll in Sports or Otter on who was the more senile: Beano Cook or Larry Merchant. I think Merchant won, but it was close.
