While all of these reviews are extrememly positive, a few of them mention the drawn-out ending as a negative. I know I haven't seen the movie yet, but I just don't see how this could be a bad thing. Not only does it match the book (just think if the scouring was included!), but it is required to resolve three entire movies. If they had just cut away from the climax to a two-minute denouement, and then rolled the credits, I would be extremely dissapointed. This movie NEEDS time to cool down.

You'll never please everyone. After the action climax of a movie must come the emotional climax. Some people even complained about the first two films (theatrical cuts) being too long---fudge 'em.
