30" WS TV at Frys
I went to a not so local Frys recently and saw that the store was selling a 30" WS TV for about $560, but unfortunately since I was there for another reason, I didn't get to see what brand it was and the features that it has. Has anybody seen in recently? If you have, what do you think of the product? I will be using it in my room and thought that the price was good for a 30" WS...
Also my father was lookin at this TV for our living room, a 60" WS Philips TV for $1399.99 (demo, originally $1999.99 and they took off $600). I think that it's this one...

Good buy? Or are there better ones?

DVD Talk Legend
Ive seen a Phillips 30" WS here at Best Buy in Canada for around $800 or so which in US coin would be the equivalent but it wasnt HDTV compatible but still looked half decent picture wise.

I had that same TV, except for it being a 55inch. I was pleased with it somewhat. I didn't have much luck in setting it up the way I wanted it. However, it wasn't a bad TV and I do miss it.

I just saw a Sears ad that included a Samsung 26' Widescreen HDTV for $599.99! I think that I'm going to wait until next year, what 3 weeks from now and hope that they still have the same tv for the same price! Any inputs on this product?

I just also read about Akai CFT3090 which is selling for about $300-500 bucks at some Frys and Sams Club. Some ppl have reported it to be HDTV, which I doubt, while same said it was non HDTV. I'm not sure about it being able to do 480p/i...
