KLH Home Theater Receiver - R7000
Anyone know anything about this reciever???? Best Buy has it on sale for 149.00 Is it any good, or should i pass. Im looking for an inexpensive digital reciever for a small room.
I tried doing a search on the forum, but it wouldnt take it since KLH is only three letters.
Thanks for any help. I tried searching the web for customer reviews, and came up empty handed.

Yeah, I would stay away from KLH receivers. I had one before (can't remember if it was the one you mentioned). It worked but it had a very high, noticable distortion. Now I have Kenwood and all is good.

(For example the HTR-5640 is about $220+sh at etronics, and $210 + $2.50 sh at ubid's superstore, although this latter *may* be a refurb.)

The Yamaha is nice receiver, I have heard it at BB and it is one of the better deals around. If you are on budget, go for it, you will not be disappointed.

Or check out www.ecost.com. They have some real good deals on factory refurb recievers. I picked up an Onkyo HTR500 for $115.00. Comes with a 1 yr. mfg. warrenty. Sounds great. Now I have to listen to all my movies all over again
