the eye and taxi 1 region 0 HK version, is it anamorphic?
the specs according to hkflix.com mentions that its letterbox and dts, but not specifically if its anamorphic. (has the little film screwing up joke in the movie thats missing from the american version)

also I want to know if Taxi 1 the hk region 0 version (the uncut version with nudity as the korean version is missing the nudity) is anamorphic as well.

That version of "The Eye" looks like the non-anamorphic one I have. Sure enough, I checked DVDCompare - Panorama's releases are non-anamorphic. And crappy looking.
As for "Taxi", look here. I'm not sre which one you mean.

Rypro,
That's the Panorama r3hk, which is not anamorphic. It is notorious for having an overly dark and muddy transfer. Avoid it! The Lion's Gate r1 is a big improvement over the Hong Kong disc, but it is still too soft, has mild green bias, and appears to be a PAL->NTSC port (which introduces some ghosting issues). Undoubtedly the best picture belongs to the Klockworx r2j, which has a slight but mostly unobtrusive red tint. It is also noticeably sharper than all other releases. AFAIK the r2j stands as the only release which has the theatrical "red ghost" gag. Unfortunately, it does not have English subtitles!
Take a look for yourself.

The UK PAL release of The Eye is anamorphic and has some good extras.
The HK version of Taxi is non-anamorphic but you get the quick glimpse of hair pie.
The Korean version of Taxi is R0 and Anamorphic but you lose that quick glimpse. But who cares. Its literally less than .5 sec.
I'd like an OAR version of Taxi 3 as the Korean one is chopped to 1.85:1.
