DVD Talk review of 'Alias - The Complete Second Season'

I read James W. Powell's DVD review of Alias - The Complete Second Season at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=8513 and...

you might want to keep the biggie spoilers away, as you mention several in your review. Maybe you should instead just use the plot outline instead.

WOW! I cannot wait....I watched Season 1 on DVD and loved it. A wonderful blind buy.

After enjoying it, I also bought 24 S1 and S2. I have loved every minute of those seasons. I cant wait to dive into this one.

I am recording Season 3 each week so I can watch it after I finish S2.

Very excited!

Rypro, I hope you didn't read anything you regret. I know how painful reading spoilers can be. That's why I put the warnings on the review (now in red for easy recognition).

I'm not sure how everyone feels about Wal*Mart, but I recommend picking up the set tomorrow. They generally have good prices (under $40 should be the norm). With the $10 rebate in the box for Season One owners, you can't lose.

no, thankfully I have seen most of season 2 (ok, nothing before "phase one" aka reboot, but I think you were a little heavy on spoilers there and could have just typed out the synopsis of the plot.

Does any one know where can I find the $10 rebate? I bought both season 1 and 2, but could not find the $10 rebate form.

ive got one question, for the season finale, abc aired the final 2 episodes back to back with no credits at all for the finale, just starting right away. does the dvd stop for credits and so on before "the telling" or does it go right to the telling right when the first episode ends.

Buzz, I don't think you're alone. Has everyone else got their rebate?

Rypro, the two episodes are separate w/ credits. However, I watched them separately and don't know what happens when you click "play all" on that final disc.

james, please put in your review to avoid the trailers before disc one at all costs because there is a very very very heavy spoilerific commercial for alias season 3. it basiclly gives away all of the big plot twists of season 2. Including the biggie of hte season 2. you can skip them by hitting the menu button.

Loved this set. Fantastic job. This show is just amazing... although, I am now almost in tears... for the past few months I've been taping season 3 so I could watch it when I finished season 2... only to find out, that during the season premiere of S3, my digital cable box rebooted for some unknown reason, so instead of taping the rest of Alias, it taped 40 minutes of old people dancing on channel 2... I want more alias!

Which network does this show broadcast on? Do they have any reruns of the first season anywhere?

hobgoblin, abc, and no, they aren't currently doing first season repeats. abcfamily on cable occasionally does repeats but they haven't done it in quite a while.

I bought the Second Season DVD on Dec 10 at a local Sam's. The outside of the package has a sticker that says "save $10 my mail." At the time, there were three on the floor. All of 'em had that sticker.

I couldn't find any rebate form in the box or with any of the DVDs.

I took the DVDs back to Sams today. They didn't have any rebate forms, so they told me to look at the boxes on the floor. I found 8-10 copies on the shelf, but non of them had the sticker on the box. They wouldn't let me open one of the boxes to look for a rebate form. The sent me home to look on samsclub.com for rebates. Of course, there are no rebate forms on samsclub.com

Help.... I want me rebate.....

Rebate is a paper rebate inside the first vol. of the DVDs.

Try contacting Buena Vista and ask them to mail you a coupon since your set didn't have one.
