I own an MSI Geforce2 Ti(forgot exactly what model #) on an Athlon XP 1700, Abit KG7, 512mb RAM, Win2k SP4..

When playing Need For Speed: Underground, I keep on getting this really annoying rendering problem. Check the screenshots below:

These huge blocks of color appear randomly and stay for varied lengths of time. I had been using the 52.16 drivers, and I switched to 45.23 to see if this was the problem, it wasn't. I've also tried using different DirectX(v9.0b) settings like turning on/off vsync, messing with AA, etc. Nothing has really helped. The card isn't overclocked.

Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

Are you overclocking the card? Overheating could be one of the causes of your video card's problem.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. The card isn't overclocked currently, but when it was a few months ago, I had similar problems in Quake 3. Textures would appear really oddly, but cleared up as soon as I returned to the regular settings. I could try -underclocking- the card to see what that does..
