www.nintendo.com gets a facelift...

www.nintendo.com

Looks too corporate, I liked the old site just fine.

It's buggy, slow loading and drops images, flash and info like crazy.

Bad move.

I think slow loading is an understatement. It takes forever to load.

I agree the old design worked perfectly fine. No need to fix what wasn't broken.

I've had no luck at all. I wish I could have bought MKDD and Mario & Luigi before this new site was started. I want my Zelda Bonus Disc, but looks like I will have to wait.

Can we register by phone?

pretty generic looking - actually looks like it was designed by the same folks that did the Phantom website. heh. I don't see anything wrong with it though. They are - after all - a big corporation, so why not have a corporate looking site?

Loaded fine for me, about 2 seconds maybe 3. Don't love it or dislike. Did not really like the old site so a redesign is nice, but this one is only so so.

Finally got logged in and registered my games, however, I see nothing about getting the free Zelda disc.

It also loaded just fine for me. I think the main page is a bit cluttered, but it does look better than the previous design.

Okay, you just have to register your games and they will email you to let you know you have qualified for the Zelda disc. Hopefully it will ship soon.

Overall the design is better, it just needs some bugs worked out and its probably getting heavy traffic right now with people trying to get the Zelda disc.

Loaded in 2 seconds for me, looks great! Of course I hardly ever to go any company sites except game specific ones so it doesn't matter that much to me, but its a big improvement over the old one IMO.

Why can't they make a lite version? I hate sites that require flash. Bunch of BS.
