I saw a pic on the net a few weeks ago, where quint was arm wrestling Richard Dreyfuss...
What is this scene? Deleted?

I'm going on memory here, but I think that might be one of the deleted scenes that's included on the DVD. IIRC, it was just a quick scene to give a taste of what kind of guy (ie, badass) Quint is.

There is a scene where Quint talks about an arm wrestling injury. The still you saw could be from this scene and may have been taken between shots when the cast was goofing around or mugging for the camera.

Or if it was an intended scene to show that Quint is a badass, he more than likely was scripted to win. You see, it is called acting, the actors do what the director tells them to do, if Stevie says let Quint win you let Quint win.
