With so many good games out right now, some have to be moved to the back burner. I was wondering which games people are putting off now but will buy immediately once the price drops to the $20 range.

For me, I'd say I'll be waiting on the PS2 version of THUG because I really want to have my face in the game but have barely even touched THPS4 yet. Also I'd like to try Voodoo Vince eventually, but Jak 2 and R&C Commando will be taking up my platforming time for a while. And if either ESPN Hockey or Basketball have an early price drop I'd probably get them as well.

Well, got tons of cheap games recently, so I've decided to play them all first before buying any more games. I actually DO have a list to keep track of what I want to buy...there's a "buy right away" category and a "buy when they're cheaper category". On that list I have:

I'm waiting for Prince of Persia,Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Beyond:Good and Evil to drop to 30 or below. Unless I get them for Christmas. Reviews saying B:G&E is 10 hours is probably 6 hours for me. Silent Hill 3 was 5H35M or so for me with reviews stating 12H or so. I was pissed but it was worth it in the end. I won't pay full price on a product that isn't an established franchise I don't know much about though, at least I try not to.

-Voodoo Vince to drop to $20 or so, looks like alot of fun.. is alot of fun, just dont want to spend $40 on a platformer right now.

-PGR 2.. will be getting Sega GT Online for $20, dont want to also spend $50 on PGR2..

How about Splinter Cell for PS2, I know SC is already down in price for Xbox version. I have been wanting this game for the last few months but I just know it has to come down soon. My luck, I will buy it and it will come down in price the next day, or 31 days to mess up my instore price matching.

Mega Man Network Transmission.

I haven't played any of the series since X3 on SNES. I just can't imagine spending all that money on a 2D side-scroller who's graphics really haven't advanced in 10 years. I think it retailed at $39, saw it at Target the other day for $29. So just another $10 or $15 more bucks and it will be mine.

I don't pay full price for games anymore... it just means I have to wait awhile before I can play it. PC games I sometimes buy right away - but those often have big discounts.

I'm waiting for Mario Kart Double Dash to become a Player's Choice title. It's fun being a new Gamecube owner. I'm picking up all the older Players Choice titles very cheap now and having fun playing them. By the time get done with all these games, Mario Kart DD will be cheap enough to buy. With so many great cheapass deals on older games that I've never played, I can't bring myself to pay full price for any new game now.

Me neither. Just today, I got Tenchu 3, Animal Crossing, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Pikmin, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for a total of $60 at EB. Add that to the list of 40-50 (!) still-sealed games waiting on my to-play shelf, and I see no reason to pay more than $10-15 for a game.

I guess it could go down soon, but keep in mind that the XBox version was released more than five months before the PS2 version.

Midway Arcade Treasures was released at $20. Flashstash, what are you waiting for? A used copy to save $5?
