Two ways to get X2: Wolverine's Revenge (Cube, PS2, XBox) for $10 net

First method:

If you have a Coconut's or Strawberries in your area (primarily the East Coast), they have Wolverine's Revenge (Cube, PS2, or XBox) for $9.99 after $10MIR from today (11/23) through Wednesday 11/26.

Coconuts Store Locator

Strawberries Store Locator

YMMV on these prices at other TransWorld stores (FYE, Planet Music, Saturday Matinee, Spec's). TransWorld stores do have pricematch policies, though usually not made obvious to the public.

Second method:

Circuit City has a deal this week for X2: X-Men United on DVD for $14.99. They have the same price on X2: Wolverine's Revenge (again, for all 3 consoles). If you buy both, you get an instant $10 rebate. Game and movie for $20, no rebates involved.

I realize the game received mediocre reviews, but a decent hack-and-slasher for $10.

Enjoy,

-JB

Any user reviews? Kind of hard to pass up a game when I'm already going to buy the X2 DVD.

Seriously, what game isn't worth $5? You can't rent a game for that anymore.

I bought the game a week ago at Best Buy for $9.99, and on top of that, got a $5 gift card.

I think the highest sale price is $14.99

and the highest regular price is $19.99

I must say it is not a BAD game. In fact, for Wolverine fans, it is an incredible game. For anyone who likes X Men, it is also a good game.

Realize this, a game like X2 would have left you floored had it been released as one of the first games on the PSone or Sega Saturn...

Just because there are so many good next generation games, doesn't mean you need to be that jaded.

Damn all sold out of the game at my local CC at 3pm.

And they said they don't give rainchecks for games, anyone know if this is true?

That's what BB price matching is for. I had no problem and they didn't call CC first.

BTW : IGN gave the PS2 version a better score than the Xbox. Is it supposed to be a better game on the PS2?

Got in on this tonight. Grand total was $18.50 for both the game and movie. (i had a 10% off coupon cause their store was closed due to a power outage the other day.)

Not bad.

You're lucky. My Best Buy not only calls the place to verify, but they ask for notarized letterhead and a blood test.

There was one Wolverine's Revenge game after I took mine. I'm sure they'll be sold out before the store closes tonight. Thanks for the post!

got a GC copy for me and a GC copy for my brother. I figure $4.99 is a good deal plus I had a penny guide from Best Buy for the game anyway
