I was gonna pick this up but the reviews have said they screwed up the Smash TV port up. It apparently has slowdown in the game which is just ridiculous.

I haven't been able to find this anywhere in Houston (PS2). Anyone see it around?

Holy hopping pope shit! Why was I not informed about the Intellivision compliation! 60+ games? Hell - for Utopia alone, it's worth 20 bucks!

Damn.

So is it coming to the Cube, or is it just X-Box?

Are you all talking about Intellivision Lives! for the PC or did it come also to a console?

I find it funny that they had to reduce the framerate on Smash TV for the PS2 version but the Xbox one runs at with no slowdown...

Strange that IGN says Xbox is a perfect emulation but Gamespot says differently.

Xbox MAT review

Quote from Xbox review at Gamespot.
Smash TV's frame rate constantly dips, often skipping frames of animation, which diminishes the greatness of its relentless onslaught of action.

The Xbox and PS2 review are identical..so I am guessing they only played one version (probably the PS2 since that is the one that has been released already).

Most of Gamespot's Multiplatform reviews use the same review and only add things if there is a huge difference between versions. I would hope a professional review site would review all versions of the game instead of basing it all on one version.

Was it just PC only? I've not heard about it at all, so I was just assuming consoles.

IGN says that the X-Box version runs spot on 100% framerate. Sounds like this is the way to go, then. That or the cube version in a couple of weeks.

I just picked up the Xbox version yesterday, and it's great. Haven't noticed any frame rate problems on any of the games. Having fun playing all the old classics I used to spend quarters and quarters on. Awesome deal for $15

I got this on PS2 in the EB black Friday deal. I was initially pretty disappointed with it. I've only spent about 1/2 hour with it though. Maybe my feelings will change. My gripe is only with the control. It's just tougher to play Joust and Rampage on a PS2 controller than with a joystick and big buttons.

But, that's why I'm building a MAME machine.

I know the feeling. It was tough to get used to the controls on the Xbox. I almost wanted to use the old D pad
