Deep Discount DVD problem

Though I came out ahead on this-what they did makes no sense what so ever.I bought the Rocky and Bullwinkle box set from them a few months ago.Disc two was bad so I returned disc two-only.I sent them an e-mail after wating for sometime for a replacement disc. But what they did was credit my account for the full amount and I am stuck w/two out of the three discs and will have to re-purchase the entire boxset to get the second disc.Makes no sense-you figure it out.

You got your money back. What else do you want?

Did they tell you to send back one disc from a box set and they would replace it? I think you are probably lucky you got a refund if you sent in the bad disc on your own. I have never heard of any store letting you return one disc of a box set for an exchange of that one disc even though it may seem logical.

Now if DDD told you to send in the bad disc from the box set only and they would replace it, then I would call and complain about it.

.
That was the policy at TAU (Total Action Universe) on box sets from a couple of years ago. I haven't ordered anything from them recently so I don't know if they changed.

But I did order a box set from them with 2 out of 5 discs that were defective. They instructed me to return the 2 bad discs for replacement. It took about a month but they did replace the the discs.

DDD told me to send back the defective disc -not the entire set.

Just received another e-mail from DDD-they want me to return the other two discs and then I will get another set from them. Why didn't they say that to begin with?
